History

For the past five years or so… I had a project waiting for me in our basement.

When we remodeled our kitchen in 2007, we found old walpaper scraps and a newspaper from 1939 in our kitchen walls.  (Of course, I held unto them).  One of the many things I love about owning a home that is 100+ years old: there is character.  You know there were many memories made here before the Underwood family.

So, I found some old frames at Saver’s that were a gross dusty pink begging for a new life in red.  And now our kitchen has just a bit more history:

Happy Friday, friends.
